As a young woman, Carly became a Bat Mitzvah on November 5, 2011 at Congregation Schaarai Zedek. She was an eighth grade honors student and member of the National Junior Honor Society at the time.

Carly Rose Friedman Interests and Hobbies

In addition to her love of the ocean, Carly was active in sports, playing on a lacrosse team. She also enjoyed wakeboarding, surfing, fishing, scuba diving, and playing guitar. For her Bat Mitzvah project, Carly volunteered at Ronald McDonald House and collected items for the charity.

Although Carly Rose Friedman’s time was cut far too short, her 25 years on this earth were filled with adventure, courage, love, and pursuing her passions.
